Story goes that there are 5-new plans with a few targeted at business, and there is indication of a better data pricing and an android 2.2 phone.

Should be interesting to see a better matched competition with the three providers. Unfortunately I didn't bother to read the T&C's (bad me) but I hope the bonus minutes can be taken to the other plans. Or maybe they are going to make the bonus minutes a plan 'feature'...

Better national data pricing would be nice, but i'm not holding my breath. At least not till they get 3g towers up here in the 'tron.

Could be the HTC Desire HD? Vodafone Australia is set to announce this 2.2 phone today.

I think the android 2.2 phone will be the Huawei Ideos, Mauricio hinted it might be coming to 2degrees on another post.

Dino aye buuuut most of their bonuses (Data/100min) end this month, so the 1st seems logical.

+1 to this!
Least towers for Hamilton are being planned, just no sign of any construction yet

I just got a promo email from them earlier yesterday:

"
Win one of our fancy new IDEOS? smartphones.

Android? has arrived at 2degrees with over 80,000 applications available! Here?s a sneak peak at the new IDEOS? with Google?. Exclusively available on 2degrees, get it from our online shop or new real stores from 1st Nov (only $379 RRP). It's the phone you want to be seen with! We've got three to give away. Just tell us your favourite smartphone App. Remember to include your 2degrees number.
"

So I think that confirms it.

I'm more interested in what those new plans will be? Are they comparable with Vodafone's Business plan which is called talkZoneZero Plus New Zealand? that looks quite good, I'm thinking moving back to Voda because of that plan.
