Hi all, Ive watched and learnt lots from all over time so firstly thankyou.
My wife is thinking about buying a htc s523 (mainly as her friend has one
and she feels comfortable with it and the keypad.
I really just want to know can she use this phone on2 degrees through out NZ.
I know this is not the latest and greatest phone but she really just wants it
to connect to an exchange server for outlook email.a side question-will it sync with office
2010 on her laptop or is the windows 6.5 apps on the htc  not compatible with office 2010?Should I be looking for a windows 7 ph for this.
Thanks for your time

Perhaps she could have a go at configuring exchange on her friends phone (then remove the account) - perhaps note down fields needed on handset etc if not successful first time.
I am certain that WP7 will be OK, an Android phone with exchange active-sync works like a breeze

I am happy to be corrected (or wrong), I wont take it personally

The Phone
http://www.gsmarena.com/htc_snap-2770.php
Supports
2G Network GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
UMTS 850 / 1900 ( North American/XT)

The Networks
2degrees works on 900/1800 MHz (GSM/GPRS) and 2100 MHz (WCDMA) frequencies.
With  VF also on 900/1800 & 2100

sooo,
In summary, This phone will not be a happy experience for email synchronisation and intensive data use

Its Christmas - perhaps you could get her something "better" than what her friend has got ?
(dangerous ground I know when it comes down to predicting a wifes preferences - I've got this wrong before)
