I have sat and waited patiently for the LG optimus 1 and am wondering if anyone knows when those new Androids are going on sale?

http://www.voxy.co.nz/technology/become-expert-get-android/5/73372 - states a release date of 1st of December

edit: in this forum as the last word was 2degrees is launching it first!

They appear to be ready but something is holding them back.

LG Optimus One will be $499 with in car kit. The textmerace website lists the handset at $449.

Is there a 2degrees blog or the likes that they announce on, or is it generally just in here (media releases/chatter)?

Thanks guys, going to have a look at one. The flash thing is a little frustrating, but I can always by a top end one if that was essential!!

It can't support Flash due to the older Armv6 processor. Flash requires Armv7 or newer processors.

On 2D's site advertising this phone (see link above), the photo of the phone shows Adobe Flash 10.1 as one of the apps ready for download. If this phone doesn't support Flash 10.1 you'd think they wouldn't have used that for their screen shot perhaps?

Tivo upgrades to operate with the new OzTivo EPG, support and service. Over 400 performed here so far. See: www.hillcrest.net.nz

Meh. Meaningless Photoshopping that's all. It definitely won't run Flash. Flash Lite is on the cards though.
