I changed from slingshot and partly because my new ISP neglected to notify them in time, my account is now in credit.  The direct debit doesnt work because Ive also changed banks so how can I get this money back?

Can I go into a westpac branch and get it that way?

I know this is not the official Slingshot help but perhaps here I can get an answer before Monday?

Thanks!

Yes go into Westpac and say you want to take some money out of Slingshots Bank account because your Slingshot account is in credit. (jokes)

A Better idea call Slingshot and ask for a refund into your nominated Bank account or credit card.

This won't work because he changed bank account numbers too.

Me, being the always pessimist, think this is going to be a long battle...

Yeah should be pretty easy to manage. Have you called the helpdesk? They should be able to help.

What is the issue?

This is a good time frame and very reasonable

6-8 working days is excellent and reasonable (it is normal for companies to take this long to refund your money). i remembered my long battle with woosh, numerous phone calls for 3 months before i get back my ~$200 that woosh mistakenly charged my credit card after i have cancelled their service!

You should be happy with the 6-8 days. Orcon didn't refund the money they said they wouldn't charge my credit card for about a month and a half. Assuming slingshot are true to their word on this you've got a good response.
