Orcon are offering free addons on new plans until 31 March at http://www.orcon.net.nz/bestdealever.
Vodafone Unlimited for $120/month gets me 30GB data, homephone, unlimited national calling, wiring, and free MySky. Most months I double my data for an extra $30 (grrrr, children), so $150/month with 60GB.
Orcon is offering 55GB data, homephone, unlimited national calling and wiring for $115/month. So almost twice the data of the VF Ultimate plan for $35/month less, although no MySky.
I am tempted!
Any recent switchers from VF to Orcon on here that can comment on their experience?

I can't; I'm already an Orcon customer. (I switched from ClearNet after their CEO made air-head comments about broadband, along the lines of Bill Gates's famous "640K ought to be enough for anybody". Orcon (Kordia, their parent) were rumoured to be planning a second trans-pacific cable at the time -- much more forward-looking. And indeed the second cable is going ahead.
