Anyone else have this issue with the LG P500?

Router has MAC address filtering, but the phone is easily added to the list. The phone appears to 'connect' and is assigned an ip address - 10.1.1.6

I cannot access any internet functions - browser, email, etc. Unfortunately it is not within the specified range of 19x.xxx.x.x (like the ipod touch seems to automatically pick up).

Oddly, in the actual router settings I can see it is actually being logged as 19x.xxx.x.x, but shows on the phone as 10.1.1.6

Any ideas?

Have you tried manually assigning the IP address on the phone to see if that helps? May be something strange happening with DHCP on the router itself.

I would if I could. I think I've gone through every setting on the damn thing lol. It'll only let me change the security type (WEP, WPA2, etc), password and Network SSID - things like that. Doesn't seem to have that facility like on a leptop or PC where you can manually set the ip. I'll try it on a router at home then, maybe its the one here that is the issue, although no other devices have had this occur.

when you get into "wireless & networks" click on "wi-fi settings" and then press your menu button... then "advanced"

It's pretty well hidden :/
