I'm just wondering if anyone else has been having problems with 2degrees 3G data around the Frank Kitts park area. Over the last few days I've experienced problems with my data throughput stalling, requiring me to engage and disengage airplane mode in order to reconnect to the network. My device usually struggles to reconnect to the network for a couple of minutes and then eventually comes right, however on Saturday night the problem seemed more severe.

Is there a known issue around this area?

If you have an iPhone - It's the Phone. But yeah; their network an't always the best.

It's happening on both the iPhone and iPad. I was thinking it was unlikely to be my equipment since it seems to only be happening in an isolated area.

I'm not sure if it's the "no network" issue that you're seeing, if it is it's a known iOS issue when running on dual mode GSM/WCDMA networks.

It's not dropping off the network if that's what you mean. It's just a data stall which requires a manual forced disconnect and reconnect, much like the data stalling issues that used to be notorious on Vodafone's network.

The 3G MBB signal should be strong there as it's well covered by our sites. Have you tried locking the devices signal manually to our network?

Yes, the signal meter is showing full strength and speed test is showing about 1mb/s.

Have you tried locking the devices signal manually to our network?

I'm not sure how to do that.

Maybe it is the iPhone issue, I'm out in Jville and YouTube stalls frequently.
