Since morning today, I have been unable to access twitter.com from my Orcon DSL connection. Via VPN (US or any other country), I can access it fine. Also tried my Vodafone DSL connection at a difference premise and was able to access twitter.

Anyone else on Orcon having issue accesing twitter?

Yes issues for me since this morning as well. Constant connection errors. I use Twitterific on the iPhone and iPad.

Thanks. Annoying cause I get all dose of tech news from twitter mainly. Been accessing it on a 4" screen on my Windows Phone. It's just not the same specially when opening URL's to read the full news.

Will ring Orcon tomorrow if still not solved.

Still having issues. Not a single problem during the night on XT but as soon as I get home, connection errors again.

I'm glad to know this isn't just me! Really annoying. Twitter for Mac, iPhone, iPad not working, as well as often web. Rarely goes through for me at the moment.

Are you on Wholesale or our Purple network?

What URL are you trying to access?

Telecom wholesale. Tried accessing twiiter.com just now after reading your post and it's working fine now. Did not work the whole day yesterday (intermittent access for short periods) and this morning.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Not working again. I guess I was able to access it just few mins ago due to the intermittent issue. Tried IE9, Chrome and Firefox. Via VPN there are no issues accessing twitter.com

Yeah, I can access it, but it is playing up. Combo of the page not loading or refreshing timeline, or tweets not sending. My tweets fail with the error message "An SSL error has occurred and a secure connection to the server cannot be made." for iOS devices, and Twitter for Mac, but web just doesn't seem to post the tweet, or says "An error has occurred. Please try again in a few minutes". It seems to be very intermittent for me.

I too am on a telecom wholesale connection. Twitter on range of devices, browsers and operating systems.

Same, not working that well, I use chrome's SilverBird plugin, error about retrieving latest update kept on popping up.

Twitter is working have not had any issues, and can't replicate any issues anyone here claim to have so interested in how are you guys getting these error messages, are you using a standard web browser or using Apps, do you get the same problem in both or just the one.

Is there a certain thing you are doing on twitter that is causing it, i.e sending a tweet etc etc.

Are you using Orcon assigned DNS servers or your own.

Orcon assigned DNS, Firefox from my work PC on the fibre line and iPhone app via wifi on the Orcon ADSL.... switch to 2D 3G and connects fine.
