Curious question:

I bought a 2Degrees phone (Huawei X5), and am using it on Vodafone. Idk if the software updates (as they are released, e.g. Android 2.3 official) will still be available from the phone under the normal "online update" function while using my VF sim, or do I have to use the 2D sim to be able to receive them through this?

Apologies if I should have posted this under Android, or another forum area.

enable wifi and hit online update, OR get keen and go to huaweadevice (Look up the site) and get the latest release, you have to load it manually though.

Phone updates should not be impacted by what carriers SIM is in the handset
