pulsta: Thanks for the reply guys appreciated - it must be a Wellington thing maybe as I'm
getting my feed direct from Mt Kaukau - or at least I was lol
wilt64: Well had a wee play last night with TVNZ on demand and for those of you who like good picture quality don't bother using it!! the image is very poor even set to "high quality" it is extremely compressed and on a big screen looks like crap!! Those of you who want "TV" on your PS3 import PlayTV will be worth every cent.
pulsta: Agreed, PlayTV is the way to go - and if you're not with Orcon then I see no point in downloading something that you can record anyways, that and the fact that it's NOT live TV !
Jaxson:From the quick look I had I couldn't find Lost I think it was, so not all shows are on the On Demand service. (not sure on this..)
Philica: Hi just wondering if there was still stuttering issues with large HDD's? Im planning on importing PlayTV but wanted to get the hard drive sorted first. I was looking at buying the WD Scorpio Blue 500GB. Is this is the best drive for the price at the moment?

There does seem to be issues with some 500gb HDD I use a WB 320gb and have no problems at all with PlayTV, works a treat. If it was me I would stick to a 320gb
Philica: Also does the stuttering effect all 500GB hdd's? What about the Samsung SpinPoint M7 HM500JI 8MB 500GB? Also a bazzer mentioned would it be worth going for a faster drive or larger cache? Does that stop the stuttering?
