Out of interest, are there any features or apps planned for this box or will it always only ever be a FreeView/FreeView Plus box plus media player?

Good Question and I will pass a note through, any apps that may be of interest?

Hehe! Since you asked.... Netflix... :-)

My views (except when I am looking out their windows) are not those of my employer.

A simple app that can play an .m3u playlist would open a world of options

Incorporating as many of those VOD apps so they're all in one place would be great.  If you don't have a new smart TV it saves having to watch one VOD provider on one device, another provider on another device, another on a tablet via a Chromecast etc...

As per the other responses, Netflix would be very nice. I do have an Apple TV but that can only output via HDMI so I currently use my T2200 as a media player because I can use the AV video out to send the picture to other TV's in the house while watching via HDMI on the main TV.

Unfortunately my wife and kids have refused to give up the Sky box so the T2200 isn't getting much use at the moment but would do if it was able to do more.

Understand, I will make sure this is sent through, It would be great support to keep talking / emailing / social media the companies to request the app to come to the aerialBox / satBox devices,

IPTV is something that has been suggested before and we have looked into it for future products / services ..

One thing I would like to be able to do that I could do with my WDTV is to be able to copy files across the network to the USB disk plugged in to the back of the unit.

At the moment I have to drag the T2200 and all the cables out of the entertainment cabinet, unplug the disk, plug it in to my PC, copy the file on to the disk then plug the USB drive back in to the T2200 and tidy up.

I can't see anything in the user manual that would allow me to do that so assume it currently can not?
