Have found that the pause does not work from the web remote sometimes. Always works from the actual remote OK.

No real pattern as it works as expected other times.

Cheers, Todd

I'll look into this, and will inform the team if it's found in my testing. Thanks for the heads up!

My unit is randomly freezing during playback and the only thing that will get it working again is to pull the plug out of the back, what's causing this please?

Under the S8200 discussion, it would appear under the admin settings you can choose which EPG guide comes up when you press the guide button. Is this the case for the T2200 machine as well.

are you sure that isnt just to view the other guide? not choose which comes up with the EPG button?

Jimmy22: Nope. Suggest you pop it in under wty while you aren't using it . Cables and connections is my first thought. Is your hdmi over 5m long ?

Nope HDMI is 2m (or 3) and all cables have been swapped with the ones on my MagicTV, which isn't having any such issues

@surfwatch go to menu>settings>admin>Default Guide. that allows you to go back to the old freeview guide.

@joshhill96 i would love to be able to use the app and the guide to be able to record programmes with out having to turn the box and TV on.. Ie use the app to browse the guide then tell it to record.

Josh, is there any chance of getting a similar setting to the guide, but for Media? i.e. when you press the Media button, it can open up Media Sharing rather than USB.

I do not think I would be alone in using Media Sharing for watching videos by DLNA, but have never used a USB drive in the box.

Thanks, I worked out the change to the guide. Can I cast to the Unit similar to Chromecast, by using netflix for example. I can read video files from my tablet but dont know how to share a neflix movie.  Also has anyone been able to send the signal to a chromecast in another room. Or how can you send a signal to another TV in another room.

I just wanted to confirm that in V1.33 rewind and fast forward during the playback of library recordings, both appear to be working correctly now. Thanks!

Yes I have the latest firmware. How do I do a factory reset and will that wipe all my recorded programmes?

Thanks

Nope, your recordings will remain on the hard drive, only your settings, series links in the EPG and personal preferences are reset :)

Factory Reset is in the Menu > Installation > Factory Reset
