Until recently I got all freeview channels on my Veon TV with a UHF aerial(without using a decoder) Whats changed is a grey box popup message "Network change! Cell removed" with Yes & No options or OK on remote to exit & then TV3 & TV4, 8,9 & 11 disappears - when I tune TV the channels return & the same grey box msg "Network change! Cell removed" and within minutes the same channels disappear again no matter what options we select after this msg appears.
There is another small satellite dish outside/& cable inside our rental cabin - with a male jackpoint plug we haven't had to use, plus we got an old sky freeveiw box without a remote.

Before you start accusing people of trying to rip you/others off, or a greater conspiracy, I'd advise that you go and learn how it works yourself.

You have a Freeview Terrestrial TV. It has a DVB-T tuner in it. DVB-T is broadcast over UHF frequencies, hence why you only need a UHF aerial.
Satellite boxes use DVB-S, and are useful in areas where there is no DVB-T (UHF) signal (and that is quite a few areas).

Apsattv mentioned signal degradation because that could (and usually is) the cause of a problem like this. On DVB-T (and S), groups of channels are bundled into a multiplex (mux), and in your case, you are not receiving one of those muxes - the Mediaworks one, which are channels 3,4,8,9 and 11). The muxes are broadcast on different UHF frequencies, and being digital, it is either all on, or all off, so if you aerial is not picking up the frequency for the Mediaworks Mux in your area strong enough, you will get nothing.
It appears that is not that case in your instance, and someone else mentioned earlier in the thread that there was an issue with that mux, and it was being worked on. Patience grasshopper.
