Device is locked on Channel50, Radio NZ's National Radio. However, there is no audio, and nothing sent to screen. Can't find a reset button. Have tried totally disconnecting power - no change.
I reckon this situation occured after I switched to standby overnight whilst tuned to Radio NZ. It could be a software bug.

Another Warehouse swapout?

Have you still got the manual?

Check for factory reset instructions.

I have mine, but it is at home.

Do the Warehouse have any on-line support where they have an e copy of the manual.

There is some NZ company that imports these for the Warehouse, but I cant remember the name. I can check tonight if needed.

I just returned my 3rd box for a refund - decided that enough was enough.

All 3 suffered similar intermittent problems. The lockup described here occurred on all 3 - all you could do was turn on/off with the remote or button on the front of the unit. The display would show the channel no. of the last channel you watched, but no video/sound to the tv except sometimes a brief 'Transonic' logo. Unplugging it from the wall for a minute or so sometimes reset it, but not always.

Sometimes the unit would turn on by itself for 30 secs then turn off again. 1st unit had quite a noisy buzz to it too. Remote was a bit flakey - seemed

But having said that, when it was working, it was worth the $69 on special

Well - I'm still on my 3rd. Fingers crossed. $69 was my purchase also. The scheduler, which is of limited value in something which doesn't record, has occasionally failed to fire. Recent Wellington retune worked flawlessly.
