The wife missed the Thursday X-Factor last week so we powered up the Samsung TV opened the app and the show was not listed!! I presumed that is was one of those license issues where they can't show some programs on demand - the Mrs was disappointed so I went back to my PC (to look for alternative means) and found the X-Factor is available at the TV3 on demand?!?! So I checked the iPad, not available. It "helpfully" provided a list of "shows available to watch on your mobile/tablet".
I do recall some reason a while back where it was decided that the iPad, and maybe other devices, were not secure enough but I can't seem to find that now.
But this is an app, supplied by TV3/Samsung on a TV not a mobile or tablet. If the TV app is not secure enough either, then what's the point creating and deploying it for a small section of the shows broadcast?
Perhaps I've missed the point somewhere - please enlighten me someone...
