There used to be a digital tv mux on UHF channel 50 coming from Sky Tower but it disappeared today. Was it switched off?

I think you'll find that as from this morning CH50 is no longer a legal frequency for TV. From today frequencies above 700mhz are allocated to mobile telephony.

I was wondering the same thing today!

Yes, that frequency expired on 30/11/13. But there is a World TV License that starts 1/12/13 on Ch34. So I'd say keep scanning.

I believe that the intention is to take it "live" in March, but there will probably be test broadcasts before that so yeah, keep scanning :)
