Hi,

I'm setting up a Samsung Smart TV with the DVB-S built in tuner as there is no DVB-T coverage in my area. I can get the Freeview channels however I also get all the other Sky Channels (encrypted of course) does anyone know if there is a way to remove the Sky Channels to clear up the guide?

Samsung advertise it as a Freeview approved set, which would assume the Guide etc all works OK, but this must only be applicable to the "T" tuner not the "S"

on my 32 inch Samsung 32H5500 series tv under Satellite I have Satellite option where you get all the channels including Sky and there is a separate Freeview option where it only gets the Freeview channels.  Yours might have the same and you just missed the option perhaps.

Just double checked on my Samsung Smart TV.  In menu then scroll to Broadcasting and when select it gives from top to bottom, Terrestrial,Cable,Satellite and last Freeview Sat.     Selecting Freeview Sat selcts Freeview channels only and the Freeview TV Guide.  When selection Satellite you get all channels including Sky encrypted ones
