I have just set up TVHeadEnd on my RPi2 just to see how it all works.
I've managed to get services TV1,2,2+1, 1+1, and a number of others, however what is missing is TV3, TV3+1, FOUR, FOUR+1, presumably the MediaWorks (MUX) channels.
Weirdly, I am seeing Maori TV, which is apparently a mediaworks channel, according to this page.

H
as anyone else set up tvheadend before? I've never used FreeView before (Haven't actually watched a proper TV transmission for quite some years at home).

Maori TV is on Kordia1 mux.

Spark Max Fibre using Mikrotik CCR1009-8G-1S-1S+, CRS125-24G-1S, Unifi UAP, U6-Pro, UAP-AC-M-Pro, Apple TV 4K (2022), Apple TV 4K (2017), iPad Air 1st gen, iPad Air 4th gen, iPhone 13, SkyNZ3151 (the white box). If it doesn't move then it's data cabled.

From memory TVHeadend relies on the pre-done DVBScan files which for NZ are horrendously out of date, for parts of Auckland there is only one mux correctly defined in some of the provided sets (depending on source).

Best bet is to do a manual MUX scan, or know the correct MUX channels for a targeted scan.

What version of TVheadend? And I assume this is DVB-T?

Thanks for the replies.

Yes, DVB-T and using the version of tvheadend which is compiled into the OpenELEC unofficial repo. Unsure what version that is.
I was doing some testing about 30 minutes ago, and I don't know how, but all the of the TV3, FOUR and other mediaworks channels showed up.

I'm not sure on the number of channels that are available in NZ, but I am pretty sure that must have been close to all of them. I had the vital ones, which were 1,2,3,(maybe4) and Prime.
Really not sure what fixed it, but it's working, which is the main thing. I need to purchase an active USB hub now, so I can run it on my RPi2, concurrently with my wifi adaptor.
