I am attempting to tune HGTV using tvheadend. I have run a scan and it detected the change from FOUR to Bravo, but HGTV is not showing up. Anyone had any luck with HGTV or have an idea how to add it manually? I am located in the Wellington region and am using the Mt Kaukau muxes.

I am on Wharite and it seems to have the same muxes and channel setup as KauKau.  So if that is still true, you will find HGTV on the new fourth mux on 530000 Hz along with Apna, Al Jazeera etc.  The service id is 1508.

A new Mux, that would explain why I couldn't find it. Cheers, I will try that one and see.

Excellent, just added a 4th mux at 530Mhz and it picked up HGTV and a few other stations.

Thanks for this. This help me out to. How does one update the TVHeadend distribution with the NEW MUX servers?

Basically then next time I reinstall TVHeadend I don't want to have to Google the frequency for each MUX server.

Thanks for the tip re: new mux - although must say watching HGTV is better via Exodus on Kodi!
