my friend bought a freeview box a few months ago but hasn't got it installed yet. with the new channel tvnz7 launching yesterday will he have to manually tune this new channel in as it wasn't available at the time he bought the freeview box? or will the box just automatically add this new channel for him?
Is it the zinwell? just look through the menus for a re-scan channels option or a first start wizard and it will add it. Cant remember where since its been 3 months since ive used one.
Pretty sure it wont be added automatically, unless its forced via firmware update or something.
