I just bought our second MTV3700TD and am looking forward to sharing recordings across the network between devices/rooms.

One room doesn't have ethernet behind the TV and so I was excited to see an item under Settings/System/Network called "Wireless Networks". I've tried plugging in a DLink USB Wifi adaptor but the system doesn't recognize it.

Has anyone had success using a WiFi adaptor and if so, what brand/model do you use and does it stream content across the network ok?

Thanks
Gary

According to their website you should be able to get one at any retailer that sells MagicTV.

I just emailed MagicTV (Dish) but they don't have any adaptors left or know where I can get one. Does anybody have experience with the Wi-Fi adaptor and want to sell theirs? I guess I can always run an old Wi-Fi router bridged behind the TV and plug an Ethernet cable into that.

cheers
Gary
