Hi All

Just moved into a new house and having trouble getting TV set up.

I had a look on the roof and i could only see a 'normal aerial' and no satellite dish. When i look at my TV points, they all have the same connection type (looks like satellite connections to me). How am i able to get Freeview with this configuration? I have attached an image of the outlet, the cable connected is my old Sky Tv cable.

Assuming your TV has Freeview built in, just connect a cable from the antenna input on the TV to the F connector on the wall.

F connector isn't just used for satellite.

Also, if there are multiple outlets around the house, there is presumably a splitter somewhere that distributes the signal from antenna to the various outlets.

Our house was reroofed and rewired about ten years ago. We ended up with a new aerial on the roof plus each of the four aerial fittings as female f-type sockets like the one on the right of your photo. Although these f-type sockets are more often associated with satellites our experience shows they can just as easily be connected to a freeview aerial (we have no satellite dish). So I'd try anything that looks an a 'normal' aerial socket or the f-type socket shown.
