Hi

Just recently I have been having trouble setting the timer on our Ultraplus 990HD Micro PVR which has an external Western Digital HD connected for recording.

I am not able to change the start time from for example 1500 to 2100 as it won't change the 1 to a 2. I've looked at the settings and cannot find what is wrong, it does have Daylight Saving On with +12.00, is anyone able to suggest a solution. I have not tried just pressing the record button as what I want to record is often when we are in bed.

I know it is a discontinued product but we are still getting good pictures as is our other Ultraplus 980HD micro PVR

thanks in advance

You haven't got the clock in 12H mode instead of 24H? Not sure if there is a setting for this, but not being able to change the 1 to a 2 suggests it.

Have you done a hard reboot? Switch off the PVR at the wall and restart. Even the old UltraPlus models get their clock time from a TV signal, so set it to TV One and see if the clock time is picked up.

Hi, yes it has been turned off at the wall with the plug out of the power socket for almost 30 mins and makes no difference, might have to do a factory reset, I now just wait until it is 2000hrs and then set the timer :)

Maybe contact the Trade Me seller jacksuper as he is the NZ agent for UltraPlus. He almost always has auctions running so use the Q&A in one of his current listings.  He is always helpful and obliging.

"No need to use timer, just use EPG on the remote and book the program to record"
