My recorded programs all start three minutes early and thus finish early too - five minutes! very annoying especially with thriller or mysteries.

I frequently reset the start/finish times in the recordings schedule, but often, this doesnt work. I cannot find anywhere to reset these offsets.

Any ideas please?

Timer recordings automatically start 3 minutes before and stop 5 minutes after the scheduled time.

You can adjust the start and end buffers. In basic settings go to HDD/USB HDD. Go to Settings for recording. You can set the stop buffer up to 10 minutes after.

No worries. It was in the user manual, so if all else fails... read the instructions! 😉

The best way to find out how to use your electronics; (phones, PVR, TV, Pad, Car, Washing machine etc) is to go through every available menu setting there is. This is my preference. Half an hour now saves hours later. A lot of instruction books & pamphlets & Guides are useless or too complicated.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

it’s under HDD / USB because those are the two places you can record to.
Ah! Never bother with the paper version. Always download. Then you can just search for start or stop or buffer and you’ll find it within seconds 🤣

If you think consumer electronics manuals are complicated then don’t even attempt any telco protocol or standards docs. That’s a whole world of ugly 😉
