Freeview is dropping out under light rains but sky sat works ok. Both on the same dish.

Freeview box is a SAT1 I think. Stats below. Dish has a new LNB and was tuned this year when we had dropouts when the last satellite was playing up.

Where do you live? Koreasat has a reduced signal in a few locations due to having a different signal footprint compared to the previous Optus satelite.

Sky uses different signal parameters, compared to Freeview so will play with lower signal levels.

Some discussion on the forum below suggests that LNB skew can be a big factor in low signal quality issues.

My first ever AM radio network connection was with a 1MHz AM crystal(OA91) radio receiver.

Kerikeri, Bay of Islands,

I have just been in and seen that Freeview is down in some houses, while sky is working fine. All on the same dish. Sky Signal is down at 3.8db. No rain but overcast

Dish is on roof of a comms building but it does not appear to have the correct skew. It doesnt even look adjustable on the dish. I have booked a tech and will get them to look at this.
