I've just moved into the center of Wellington and have set up the HTPC to use the Freeview DVB-T broadcasts here and am finding TV3 is stuttering so badly that it is unwatchable. I'm using Mediaportal and have never had this sort of trouble before.

I've tried swapping codecs and have had no luck in that regard. I have also tried my laptop which has a built-in DVB-T tuner and it seems to work fine on that so i don't think it's signal related.

Is there anything else that could be causing this issue?

Could it be a problem with the PC not having enough resources available? Its never had any probblems before.

Thanks in advance.

Disregard this, i've tried an alternative F-type to Belling-Lee cable and it seems to be holding steady. The cable was obviously on its last legs and would only get a signal through it after it got moved into a specific position.
