Kia ora tātou

Just wondering if anyone knew if Te Reo channel is ever going to broadcast on FV HD? or will it always be a FV Sat service?

Cheers

Have you tried asking them as Maori TV are usually very responsive.

When I asked around their launch the answer was that most of their viewership would only get the FV Sat (DTH) service, but they were keeping their options open.

Generally known online as OpenMedia, now working for Red Hat APAC as a Technology Evangelist and Portfolio Architect. Still playing with MythTV and digital media on the side.

There I was not even knowing that it was missing.

But if you really want to watch it, I am sure someone can give you a copy of the picture they have up all the time I flick past it, so you can see you are not missing much.

Perhaps they figured they had better spend some money on content before worrying about getting more viewers?

Err, it is... Maori TV (MTS)  is currently on the Kordia Mux, along with Stratos, Parliament and Chinese TV.

Yes, Māori Television is on FV HD, but there is a second Māori channel called "Te Reo" which is currently only available on FV Sat and that is the one I am enquiring about.
