I have a combined UHF/VHF roof top aerial.

I have line of site to Waitarua from Narrow Neck, North Shore.

But I am not getting good TV1 on VHF and some 'low signal' issues on UHF.

The current aerial is two years old with all new RG6 cable. The aerial is a Hills OMX300WB.

Any suggestions for appropriate aerials if I went for seperate UHF and VHF aerials.

Also where to buy? As I would want to return them if they made no improvement ( I see DSE don't sell VHF aerials anymore!).

Could you clarify what you want to achieve.
Is it to:

- Improve your reception of analogue TV (for which you need both VHF and UHF aerials)
or
- Receive Freeview|HD (which only requires a UHF aerial)

The first. Given we still have a few TV sets with analogue only I need to get better TV1 reception.

But also need to stengthen UHF signal for DVB-T as I get picture freeze on the Kordia mux when using a Hauppauge 900H USB TV Tuner, but the Sony Bravia TV (running off same aerial) still operates Freeview on the lower signal strength across all muxs.
