Is the dual tuner issue still around for this card?

I just paid for a order with it in it last night, if this is so i might consider canceling it.

Cheers

Edit: The driver issue with windows 7 limiting it to one tuner.

Whops missed that =S

Edited my post above.

Aparently the windows 7 driver does not work properly and it limits it to 1 tuner.

I'd recommend you get a HVR2200 over the NOVA-T 500. It's newer and better. But what are the rest of your system specs.? We assume you're kitting out a PC for Freeview HD are you aware of all the requirements for playing back Freeview HD?

Dont need analog and i dont want PCI-E either.

This is first going to go in my PC for some testing (has a 9600GT which will accelerate it) then it will be put into a media center PC (custom built).

Sounds like you're on to it. Still though why not PCI-e. The Nova T is getting on a bit now (as is PCI)

PCI-E slots are still in low numbers compared to PCI, because of this i want the flexibility of a PCI slot.

Can anyone confirm if there is an issue with the nova t 500 in windows 7.  I have this card and it works great in xp and I was thinking of upgrading to windows 7 soon.

I Have a Nvoa TD 500 which is similar. Both tuners working on Windows 7 64bit with Media Portal.

I am using the NOVA-T 500 in my machine with W7 32bit Home Premuim. All works fine, but they still have the issue where it fails to work properly upon waking from sleep, which is annoying.  Some people have managed to get around this issue but I never could.
If you are planing on using WMC (which I am doing) I recommend BSE and pulling a 7 day EPG from the net (be aware of the Sky C&D issues though). Media Browser also rocks.

Sadly the alternative PCI-E HVR-2200 has a werid conflect with my Motherboard and will only work in the 16x PCI-E slot. That is a no go as I need my Video card.

What would BSE be?

BSE = big screen epg

It's in Beta at the moment - but works great as is and is free until it get finished. I will be paying for it when it comes out of Beta - works a treat.
