Hey guys,

I hope someone can help me with my problem.

I have a samsung tv with an inbuilt freeview tuner.

I had issues from the start trying to setup all the channels. At first I could either get TVNZ 1,2,6,7 and the others would not appear or I could get 3,4,5,8,10 etc. and the TVNZ channels would not appear.

Then I took off the GND??? (outer ring of the coax) and connected only the Live??? (Inner Prong) to the connection and I got all the channels.

This worked OK but everynow and again I would lose the reception (it would go blocky) as expected, and would have to fiddle with the connection to get it to work again.

I can't do this anymore, it is driving me nuts! If I wire the coax properly, I can only get 3,4,5,8,10 etc. to work and not TVNZ 1,2,6,7.

Please help me, what should I do?

Thanks in advance to any kind souls that can take the time to give me some advice.

Maybe you need to check your Aerial and the cabling coming down from the roof and all
connectors as well.
Someone should give you more detailed advice.

You obviously have a problem with your wiring or aerial somewhere and really need to identify where the issue is. If you don't have tools for doing this I'd recommend just calling an aerial installer.

Sounds like there are some issues with you cabling connections between you TV and the aerial. ( Or the aerial wiring is dodgy as well).

IF you know what you are doing, you might want to trace the cable and check all the connections, otherwise get a tech in to check your installation.
