So I have a DSE freeview DVB-S box and whilst it is quite old, it does still work, to some extent.

Basically the problem I have is that if I reset to factory settings and run the initial setup wizard, it finds no channels. If I then re auto-scan, it will find most channels but TV1 and 2 dont come up.

All the other channels have wonderful quality etc. Any ideas?

OK, so on closer inspection of transponder settings on the box, the 12456 transponder will pick up all the TV3 etc channels but the 12483 transponder just comes up saying service not collected. Could this be a problem with the satellite and if so how could it be fixed?

Sounds like a problem in the dish, sounds like the skew or polarisation is way out
