Hi,

Does anyone have any experience with the Digistar 860uh satellite receiver? Are these units any good - any known problems or issues? It appears they have HDMI output in addition to being able to record.

Have a read of the threads on here, personally I wouldnt touch one , you do get what you pay for

The 811 (earlier model) gets good reviews once the firmware's updated. I just ordered the 860 version for my Mum, mostly because it has HDMI and she's out of other input types. I'll report back how the UI seems once i've set it up, then later on once i've used it and seen the output.
