I'm a newbie when it comes the Vu+ Duo but after reading the posts about the Duo decided to buy one.  It came preloaded with all the freeview channels. I have an existing receiver and 90 cm dish with dual LNBs which pointed to both Optus D1 and D2.  I tried connecting up the second LNB to my Vu+ Duo but when I do an automatic and manual search for the Optus B3/D2 setting I can't get the Vu+ Duo to see any of the channels on Optus B3/D2.  Has anyone hooked up a second LNB to to Vu+ Duo?

the LNB is definitely pointing at D2 and not C1? The standard Sky install dual LNB points to C1.

How is the splitter rigged up? Do you use a DiSEqC switch, or a tone?

You probably need to set something up in the menuy to tell it how to use the other LNB, I suspect this isn't set up by default.

The standard configuration is to internally loop Tuner A to Tuner B, so your second LNB may be being ignored. You may need to go to the configuration menu and change Tuner B from "Same as Tuner A", or whatever, to independent function.

Hi Xarqi and allstarnz

I have two satellite dishes on the roof. One is a SKY dish which is working perfrectly with the Vu+ Duo and the second dish is a 90cm freeview dish.

The second satellite dish is set up with 2 LNBS and a Disque switch. At them moment its hooked into a strong receiver box, but I want to take this LNB cable and plug this into the back of the Vu Duo+.

I'll give the independent function a go, as I just tried setting it up with the 2nd LNB set to Optus D2.
