Hi

I’m using Mythtv to receive my freeview HD. Since Thursday I haven’t been able to watch anything. I’d recorded a program Thursday night and it was just black. I’ve been trying to fix it over the weekend and now I can watch most channels but with some I get alot of pixelation. Tv3 being the worst. My Mythbox uses a haugauge wintv nova-t 500 dvb-t 1.20fw which is a dual tuner but I get no signal with the second tuner.  I checked the cable by plugging it directly into the TV which has a freeview tuner built in. I re scanned the channels and the signal quality was high. Then checked the Mythtv box but I only got a signal from the first tuner. The second tuner came back with nothing. I live in Ponsonby with a clear 360 view from the roof.

You might want to try posting this in the htpc section.

If you have had this working, and haven't really changed anything, then you might want to take a look at your aerial, cabling and end connections.

You might want to check that the LNA (Low noise amplifier) is active on your card

The lna has been configured since the initial installation of the tuner card.
thanks for the reply though. Any other ideas as to what it might be.

What version of MythTV are you using? I've heard similar problems but 0.24 is supposed to fix a lot of these issues.
