I wish I had caught this other one: http://www.stuff.co.nz/the-press/news/christchurch-earthquake-2011/6405922/Shocking-event-documentary-tonight

"[It] documents the lives and stories of Cantabrians following the 7.1 earthquake in September 2010 quake. The one-hour documentary, which was shot over a year after the September 2010 quake, uses closed circuit television and computer generated imagery to explain the science of the earthquakes"

Same, I am a Cantabrian have not plucked up the courage to go to the cinema to watch it. Will be more happy to watch it at home, in fact I will probably record it on MySkyHDi or PlayTV so we have a HD copy of it (looks like it is only being released to the public on the 23rd on DVD only) then I can watch it at my own leisure!!Has been a horrific 15mths here in Canterbury!!

TV3 had a short Chch earthquake piece on 60 minutes last night.

Seems the reporters were just getting in the way and asking the same dumb questions.

I thought the 60 minutes clip was fantastic, to be honest I had tears rolling down my face within the first few minutes. Jeff Hampton did an amazing job...

I was particularly alarmed when he went into the unstable Chch cathedral.  Wtf.

Endangering his life, and others by wandering into a dangerous zone.

I really wonder if the camera man, boom operator, and reporter could have helped out a bit more.  But I guess in this world, media coverage, and recording death is a big seller.

@wilt64 I agree, it was very emotionally draining, to watch it all over again.  I couldn't sit through all of it

I have moved across the ditch.  Now residing in Melbourne as a VOIP/Video Technical Trainer/Engineer.
