Reason why I want to go for a international web host is because most NZ/AUS webhosts don't offer unlimited number of addon domains. I have a number of domains which I want to host/manage on one web host.
As well, most international webhosts offer unlimited bandwidth, disk space and database. This price is also relatively low compared to most nz hosts.

I've recently signed up to ipage.com and it is terrible there. The web host performance is extremely slow and poor. It would take 7 -
10 seconds to load a page. Sometimes would not even load and seems as if the server is down (maybe caching problems on my end). ControlPanel would take a long time to load from one page to another at times also. Also takes a long time to update my pages. They said money back guarantee however they won't refund me for the addon services which I ticked during registration which were "SiteLock" and "Site Backups and Restore" for $12.95 USD each. Very disappointed!

I am looking for a new international web host that provides some of the features I have listed above. Performance is a very important factor for me in terms of speed and connectivity.

I have searched geekforum and done my own research through google and returned with hostingzoom, dreamhost and hostgator. However I am sceptical about the review websites out there. Need some perspectives from people here.

If anyone has used these web hosts, please comment on their reliability and performance.

If not, any other recommendations that are affordable and reliable?

What I am after: Speed and reliability, Large disk space if not unlimited, large bandwidth if not unlimited, a couple of databases, unlimited number of parked/addon domains to host multiple websites. Cheap/affordable.
