I have a Windows Server 2012 R2 Standard Edition dedicated server with 4x public IPv4 attached to it.

I'm running a couple of Guest OS' on VMware Workstation 10 which I want to assign the spare IP addresses to so I can access them directly.

What's the best way to go about this?

nathan: bind the VM to your NIC, put the IP on the vm

Thanks, currently all IP's are registered on the host adapter (e.g. 101.0.102.100, 101.0.102.101, 101.0.102.102 etc); so just to confirm:

Host: Network Adapter Properties > IPv4 Properties > Advanced > [Remove IP 101.0.102.101]
VMware: Virtual Machine Settings > Network Adapter > Bridged Mode - Connected directly to the physical network
Guest OS: Set static IP to 101.0.102.101, same subnet/gateway as host

That sound right? (I'm new to VMware)

yep that should work. You're kind of thinking about it too deeply. Forget about that its a VM or on VMware, its just another normal machine on your network :)
