Hey guys,

After any recommendations for company/contract lawyers for sorting out some Terms and Conditions for a website I will be launching soonish. Budget is tight, so would prefer towards the lower end of the pay scale.
I have a draft version already, but it's more or less a direct copy from another website so would need wording changed around quite a bit and also double checked to make it unique.

Preferably in Auckland, but I suppose doesn't have to be.

I have checked the lawyer regsitry, but I don't even know what sector Terms and Conditions writing falls under. Company law? Contract law?

Interesting website - thanks.

Unfortunately the T&C's need to cover some quite specific areas which won't be in any templates, so a one stop shop won't really suffice in this case. I have however, downloaded their privacy policy, so all is not lost.

It's funny, it seems of all trades, lawyers seem to be the hardest to get recomendations for!

Buddle Finlay did T&Cs and a Privacy Policy for us. We required some custom terms and specialised requirements to suit our business.

Set us back about $600 a few years back.

It's probably important to reach out and find a lawyer who you can work with down the track as business develops. Most offer free initial consultations.
