My smartphones stopped synchronising to Office 365 (via Telecom XT) and my laptop on TelstraClear as well - access to the webmail service is returning an IIS Runtime Error page.

Anyone else seeing this?

Hi Freitasm

We have noticed and had reports of issues on Office365 too, its not network (ISP/Carrier) specific so appears to be an MS issue, no details from MS yet though

Thanks

Thanks... Yes, back now. It also happened when accessing from a US-endpoint.

I got a DM from @Office365 asking if all was well now, and advising to check the 365 status page. Good service, but of course the irony is that was the first thing I did, and the page said 'No issues'. Still, pretty rare occurrence I have to say.

Sure. But you also have your shares of outages.

One outage and we don't have to worry about it. On premises? Continuous worry, updates, upgrades, new storage, administration.

Nah, thanks.

+1 the clients I've migrated to office 365 from sbs servers just love it - very few issues and no ongoing hassles.

This, also it's not one outage, there have been quite a few, not just with MS offerings but many others. Also completely at the mercy of the support of whomever your vendor is. On premise, change providers.

IMAP/SMTP support is still not working though - causing major headaches with copiers that scan to email and ticketing systems.

True, but you are in total control, vs no control with a cloud solution.

Shouldn't they have some form of network status page to show outages or problems people may be having connecting to their system.

You being in total control means higher costs. CIOs will go lower costs if they can.
