I learnt a new term today "Front Running"

from a quote form this article

where the comment

“Go Daddy does not and never has participated in domain name “front-running” – the act of registering domain names after a registration search is done.” Rich Merdinger
Vice President of Product Development – Domains
GoDaddy.com

My intrest was based on setting up a page of links where persons could check domain names.

My question have you ever experienced it? or do you reckon its an Internet Urban Myth?

Sounds like it would be fairly easy to test for.
