Hi all,

Anyone made much use of Crackerjacks for sourcing freelance or contract IT work.  After a cursory web search it seems to be the most lively looking NZ based IT jobs board (discounting the mostly agency based Seek and Trademe listings) with 1100 odd listed contractors, but hard to tell how many of of them are zombie accounts and how much real work is passing across the sight.

Any other suggestions of sites I might not be aware of would also be appreciated.

thanks

Richard.

My account on crackerjacks is a "zombie" account.

I tried the site a few years ago but never found any work through it.

I find most of my work through talking to recruitment firms or seek with the occasional job coming from Linked In.

I'm similar to graemeh, I have an account there, I've had the odd email asking me to update my availability, but I have never found anything suitable on the site and have never been approached via it.
It would be good to know what the success rate of matching contractors to contracts is for them.
