I have been using an excel spreadsheet for 4 months now and have always saved it on Onedrive.

Now when I log in to Onedrive the spreadsheet is correct but when I open in Excel it is out of date by about a week. The error message at the top of the screen says 'UPLOAD FAILED We're sorry, someone updated the server copy and it's not possible to upload your changes now'

Any ideas? I really need to work on this today.

Can't you download the one on OneDrive with another name and open the copy?

Are you using Windows 8.1? Have you installed all Windows Updates? There was one last month that fixed a few little sync problems with OneDrive.

Yep I fixed it by saving the web app copy with the same file name and overwriting the original one. Sorry I didn't close the thread.

Funnily enough I used Windows update about half an hour before this happened, hopefully it'll be ok now...

Cheers!
