Can anyone recommend a local email host with a good web frontend? This would be an alternative to Google Apps, something along the lines of Zarafa

I am a big proponent of Smartermail and love it. You can check out web-2u who offer nz based smartermail hosting (and are licensed for activesync)

I suggest a provider that uses Atmail for their webmail frontend. www.atmail.com
