You probably cannot demand what an experienced person in that role was getting right off the bat, but if you're getting more responsibilities an increase in pay from your current amount is a reasonable expectation.

Last time I got a pay offer that was below what I was expecting, I spoke to them about it and we put in place a bonus scheme based on specific goals.  That ended up working out better for me.

I suggest letting them make an offer.  If it is below what you think is reasonable, then start a discussion about what you and they can do to work together to get you to the next level.

Tip 1 - If you don't ask, you don't get.
Tip 2 - If you want a kitten, start out by asking for a horse.

Perhaps take what they offer but discuss an expectation of when you would have your next pay review
