Just wondering if anyone has any experience getting Office 365 or Google apps for free as an Incorporated society or charitable trust?

Both of the respective companies seem to be fairly vague and want to asses your eligibility after you start a trial.

My assumption would be if you are registered with companies office as an incorporated society your not eligibly but if your registered as a charitable trust you are?

Has anyone applied as an incorporated society and had a decision either way?

Not sure what sort of checks they do but with Microsoft you just start a trial of the charity office 365 then add your domain name and wait.
A few days later they email you saying that it has been accepted then you carry on with the setup as normal.
That was it.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

No havent as Incorporated society.  But have a contact who did for a charitable trust (office 365).  When you start the trial you dont have to be using it.  They only switched over once their licences has been approved.
