Hi

 

Anyone got any recommendations for windows server monitoring that is not SCOM?

 

Requirements are that it is extensible and agentless or at the very least has easy to install agents that are scriptable. I don't want to be installing and manually configuring server agents on our VM farm in Dev. Azure integration would be a bonus too.

Take a look at PRTG. It's done quite well for us over the last couple of years.

SCOM's days are probably numbered anyways with the focus on OMS.

Seems a lot of the System Center suite is going to be in for an overhaul soon. Thanks will check out PRTG and OMS. OMS looks a lot simpler than SCOM.
