I've been tasked to investigate visitor and contractor management software for a few of our sites.

It's more for logging and reporting rather than notifying staff, as the sites may be unmanned and we just need to track visitors.

There's a plethora of SaaS options out there - but one key requirement I'm struggling to find is that visitors must be able to sign in and out with an RFID card, as well as traditionally via the touch screen - as some visitors already have a pre-issued swipe card. This requirement seems to rule out a lot of options.

Any suggestions? I see the kiwi based whosonlocation has an API which we might be able to work with - but would rather something out of the box.

Client is loving VisTab (.co.nz) but it does not currently have RFID.  Perhaps ask them and whosonlocatioon whether they have the RFID option in the pipeline or could bring that functionality forward.
