How to map a drive with Office 365 SharePoint drive on Windows 10.

It might sound like a simple thing and I stumped. I've been following instructions all morning on how to do this but I always stuck with the following error:

And I have the websites in the the list of trusted sites. In fact they where automatically put there.

I haven't had reliable success with above, but this solution works very well:

Have you done the latter part "Browse to the web site, and select the option to log in automatically" through Internet Explorer?

Verify the credentials are saved within the Credential Manager applet of the classic Control Panel.

Could somebody just confirm where the "log in automatically" option is. i.e. a screen shot.

Is using the Zee Drive the only way to map drives to Office 365/SharePoint?

I can confirm that ZeeDrive in the above link, works very well.  It's not free but it is very good.

Following the steps again and now I get the following error:

I've just managed to use Internet Explorer and I was able to open the UNC path with "Open with Explore". I get the above error message after I try and map a network drive.

I then go back to Windows Explorer window and I now get the following error:

This stuff should not be this hard...

Curious to know, is this to make it easy for a user who is used to using drive letters or?

Makes it easy to connect to the files without them being stored on the computer.

Also, connecting to OneDrive for Business and SharePoint using the Microsoft tools is clumsy and slow.  ZeeDrive makes accessing files on those systems quick and easy.

Yep OneDrive for business is some seriously bad software, but have been having a much better experience since MS have been transitioning to the normal OneDrive sync client.  Works 1000% better and doesn't have the double up of data issue.

So I was raising a support case and going thorough the steps again so I could capture the error messages, and would you bloody believe it just started working. I did nothing different.

I'll try it for a few more days as I read about it requesting users credentials.

That's the problem, works for a while, then not. It doesn't appear to be an officially supported feature anymore.
