Just ninety minutes? Well it's a breakfast, so that should be long enough.

I might register for the Wellington one.

And I've moved this discussion to the new IT Pro forum.

Nice breakfast and info session with HP and Microsoft.

HP showed off a few new (coming soon) products...
I won't say what just yet - don't want to spoil it for others yet to attend. Sealed

HP showed off a couple of new products at this event(s)

HP 2133 Mini-Note PC which was passed around the attendees.

Will be available on the NZ market May/June in two editions:
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic, approx. $999
Microsoft Winodws XP Pro w/ upgrade to Vista (Business?), approx. $1299

Sure, it is more expensive than and Asus Eee PC.  But at least the Mini-Note doesn't look like a kids toy!

HP iPAQ 612c Business Navigator
Available "sometime this year" at approx. $799

Not too much "Wow" from Microsoft.  And why they weren't promoting their newer product solutions, such as Exchange Server 2007 or Office Communications Server 2007, is beyond me.
