Hello

I do not know if this is the right forum so sorry if it is not.

Anyway for my course I am to do a report that can be printed off on demand. Can anyone tell me what this means? Does it mean that when you close the report or open it a box comes up with the option to print?? If so how can I do that? Would appreciate all feedback. Thanks

Most likely just simply means write the Report so it is available when a user needs to view and/or print it.  The wording chosen does not strongly indicate that they would like it automatically popping a prompt to immediately print it.  If this was the case this, Access already provides a button on the toolbar to print the report without having to preview it.

Just having the report written and ready for use is all it means in my opinion.

Reports can be automatically triggered however from VBA code or macros, if you really want to do something fancy.

Cheers
